Introducing Advanced Voucher Management Features for The Art of WiFi Captive Portal
At Art of WiFi, we're always committed to providing seamless WiFi solutions for UniFi networks. An important feature of our captive portal has always been the ability to use vouchers generated through the UniFi controller's Hotspot Manager.
Vouchers have proven invaluable in scenarios like granting WiFi access to staff members for their personal devices or catering to long-term guests. While this system has served many of our customers well, we encountered a hurdle with the introduction of UniFi controller versions 7.4.X.
With this update, the voucher management function ceased to be available when an external captive portal was active for the UniFi site. This prompted us to expedite our plans for implementing an enhanced voucher management system within our captive portal platform.
In response to this challenge, we're excited to announce our new voucher management features, designed to not only replicate the voucher management functionality from UniFi's Hotspot Manager but also provide additional utilities for an even smoother experience. Here's what you can expect:
Customizable Voucher Templates for Printing: Tailor the appearance of your printed vouchers through the admin interface.
Email Voucher Delivery: Seamlessly send voucher codes, optionally with specified parameters, directly to recipients via email. Personalize the message using a customizable template.
Expiration Dates and Times: Set expiration dates and times for vouchers at the point of creation. This feature is particularly valuable for events.
